We offer itinerant canoe trips of 2 to 10 days on the Dordogne with nights in bivouac or campsites departing from Argentat or Monceaux sur Dordogne.
The Dordogne valley is a classified, preserved and wild site with landscapes and small villages, each more magnificent than the last. As you descend the river, you will have the opportunity to see the Corrézienne sand and pebble beaches pass by, but also the cliffs of the Lot and the castles of the Dordogne along the banks of the river.
These stays are ideal for people looking for adventure, nature lovers or people simply looking to recharge their batteries. Fishermen will also be delighted to place a few flies in front of the trout and grayling that you can find upon your journey.
2 options are available to you for your descent. You can sleep either in a campsite or in a wild bivouac on the banks of the Dordogne at the place of your choice (yes bivouacs on the banks of the river are perfectly legal).
Reservation required Via the contact form or by telephone.
Every trip is unique
We take the time to talk with you before your canoe trip, to get to know you but also to know your expectations and as to prepare you as best as possible.
We will adapt the route according to several criteria that we have seen together in order to make this hike the one that suits you.
When you arrive, you will be welcomed at my home so that you can leave your vehicle in a private carpark at the end of a cul-de-sac. From there, I will equip you with all the equipment necessary for your adventure (river maps, paddles, vests, bags and waterproof containers) then I will take you to the starting point 300 meters away.
Teams are monitored daily by telephone in order to keep track of the progress of your trip and keep you updated in the event of a sudden change in weather or river flow (almost non-existent and non-sudden variation). We are also always available to answer your questions during your stay.
